Waste Management Plan

Ensure that you have a waste management plan in place when planning a public event.

A waste management plan for developments must be submitted to the Authority for approval prior to construction.

Kids Did You Know...

That when you throw  garbage in the streets it clogs the drains and gutters causing flooding.

Kids And Waste Management

Kids you too can help in keeping your community clean. Here's what you can do:

  1.     Be sure your trash goes in the garbage bin, not just near it
  2.     Pick up after yourself at a picnic, on the beach, at the park or at a fast-food restaurant
  3.     Do your part to help pick up litter around your home and school
  4.     Never throw anything from a moving vehicle
  5.     Always set an example by not littering, no matter where you are
  6.     Encourage your school to conduct on-going antilitter programmes
  7.     Pick up after yourself at a picnic, on the beach, at the park or at a fast-food restaurant
