The Saint Lucia Solid Waste Management Authority wishes to remind organizers of public events that in accordance with the Waste Management Act #8 of 2004; 

“A waste management plan must be submitted to the Authority for review and approval.”

Failure to comply with the Act can result in a fine not exceeding $15,000.00 plus the cost incurred by any other party who cleans up after the activity.
