Emancipation Day Waste Collection

The Saint Lucia Solid Waste Management Authority wishes to inform residents scheduled to receive waste collection on Monday 1st August 2022 (Emancipation Day) that collection will remain as scheduled.  The Deglos Sanitary Landfill and Vieux Fort Waste Management Facility will remain open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.  For more information please contact the Authority

Carnival Monday & Tuesday Waste Collection

The Saint Lucia Solid Waste Management Authority wishes to remind residents scheduled to receive waste collection on Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th July 2022, that collection will remain as scheduled.  Residents are urged to place all waste out for collection by 7 a.m. This will allow the timely pickup of waste ahead of the carnival

The Saint Lucia Solid Waste Management Authority wishes to remind organizers of public events that in accordance with the Waste Management Act #8 of 2004;  “A waste management plan must be submitted to the Authority for review and approval.” Failure to comply with the Act can result in a fine not exceeding $15,000.00 plus the
